Growing Paynes: One Month Old

Well folks. My baby boy is officially one month old. Time is going by so fast!!!! I can't believe I have to go back to work in 2 weeks! I don't wanna!!! Actually, I really can't wait to start at the high school, but I just wish I didn't have to leave Teddy.

Labor Day weekend we went down home so Pa could see him and my Papaw Phelps, who is very sick. My cousin Chasity got to see him for the first time too. Then on Monday we went up to Mom and Dad's house so my dad could fix Coleman's brakes. My cousin Justin got to see him too. Here is a funny video of my dad and Teddy. Watch his eyes. . .

So some one month updates. I don't know exactly how much he weighs, but it's somewhere in the 10 lbs range. He was 10lbs 3oz at the doc when he was 3 weeks old. Anyways, he's wearing size 1 diapers, is eating 4oz now at each feeding. The longest he's slept has been about 4-5 hours. I made a little 8x10 picture frame to do month pictures. Here's his one month:

He's sitting in our recliner right now. He's not much bigger than that 8x10!

I already have a huge pile of clothes that he no longer fits in. I can't bring myself to get rid of a few special pieces, like his coming home outfit and his onesie that is embroidered with his name Aunt Heather got him. But I am saving them for someone special! :)

I did take Teddy to work on Friday to show him off. Of course everybody just said he was the sweetest, cutest baby (which I knew already!). They couldn't believe how big he was and how alert he was. One principal told me when they're really alert like that, that means another is on the way. I said there better not be!!!!!!!!

That's pretty much all for now. I have 2 weeks left of spending time with my sweet baby boy. Our days are filled with The Today Show, The Price is Right, and we're almost done with watching the entire Friends series. I'll leave you with a few funny pics.
