Mommy's BIG BOY!

This is just gonna be a quick update. Not much has changed on the home front. However, we did have our "2 week" doctors appt although he is technically 3 weeks old. BUT, he weighed in at 10lbs 3oz!!! I knew he was a little Porkchop! All he does is eat! Just like his Daddy. Although I am proud of Coleman, he's lost a lot of weight and so have I. I weighed in at 140lbs. Only about 10-12 more pounds before I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight! Although last weekend, I tried on a lot of my dresses and pants for when I go back to work and like NONE of them fit. I was really depressed about it. I guess my hips are forever widened. Like I said on Facebook, I feel like Scarlett O'Hara when Mammy tells her, "Miss Scarlett, you done had a baby. You ain't never gonna be no 18.5 inches again."

Psh, like my waist was EVER 18.5 inches anyways!

Anyways, he's grown 1/4 of an inch in length, so he's at 21 1/4 inches. He's still eating around 3 oz per feeding although today I think I'm gonna bump him up to 4oz. He's a hungry little boy! I go back to work officially 3 weeks from Monday. Not looking forward to it! Although I am really excited to start at Shelby Co. Everyone is so nice and helpful and I can't wait to meet my students! My long-term sub said they were really anxious to meet me. Coleman and I got WONDERFUL news on the babysitting front BUT I'll wait to reveal that for another day. . . Next doc appt he has to get his 2 month shots. I'm sure I'll be more of a mess than he will be! 

This weekend we're going down home so my dad's side of the family can finally meet Teddy. We have lots of pictures to take! My mom thinks I'm crazy, and I'm sure the pediatrician did too, but I bought "What to Expect The First Year" and it's been really helpful so far!!!
