Registering!

It is 8:45pm and I am completely exhausted! Coleman is asleep on the couch and we've only been home for about 2 hours. It was a very full day!!!

We went to Evansville and registered at Target, Babies R Us, and Walmart, not to mention Coleman needed new work clothes and I needed some more maternity dresses. I am completely overwhelmed by the whole entire process. It probably took a good 1-1 1/2 hours at each place to do it all. I printed off 2 "must-have" checklists to make sure we got everything. It kind of scared me to think of how much I really don't know about parenting and being a mom. Like, what the heck does a receiving blanket even do anyway?! What's the difference in bottles with liners and bottles without?! Like I said, the whole process is overwhelming. I don't know how ANY of my friends made registries for their weddings. It was hard enough planning today for ONE BABY. I can't imagine planning for an entire household and what TWO people want!

One thing I am very grateful for is my friend Stephanie. She has given me so much advice! She just had a baby last April and playing with Kole and watching him grow has been helpful in planning for Teddy as well. She graciously offered to give me her breast pump, one big ticket item I did NOT have to register for! She couldn't breastfeed, and never even used it. I am extremely thankful for her.

Well, there's not much else to say for now. I'm just glad the whole thing is over and hopefully we got some good stuff. If there are any moms out there who wanna check out our registry and give me some advice, that would be much appreciated! Like I said, I am EXHAUSTED!!!! Everyone have a great night. Go Cats tomorrow!
