Milestones!!!!!!!

OMG has it really been an entire month since I blogged? I apologize! Again, we've had so much going on; it's been crazy! I can't believe I missed the entire month of April!

Here is his 8 month picture, way too nosy to get a good one!

Pretty soon we're going to be taking his 9 month picture. One week in fact. Is it bad that I already have baby fever again? 18-24 months apart is a good age right?! Lol. He's just growing up so fast. People always say that and it is so true! I don't know if I can handle it! Just today, he said "baba" (the sound) and he ate all of his bananas! We've finally gotten him back on track of eating food again. He never really liked sweet foods or any kind of fruit at all. But he ate the whole thing today! I'm so proud of him! 

He is a crawling machine nowadays. He pulls himself up, crawls, and can stand up by himself using just his legs! I really think that by the end of May he will be walking. I also think he is teething again. He was really fussy yesterday and has been drooling a lot. Here we go again! Although he's already got 7 teeth, surely he would be used to it by now. . . 

My mom is no longer our childcare provider. She quit her old job and officially started her new one on Monday. So my friend Kellen's cousin Chloe is watching him while she is awaiting the birth of her own child! We are still looking for childcare in the Versailles/Frankfort/Shelbyville area if you know of anyone! 

Our house is coming along nicely! July 15th is still the closing date but here is the current progress:

We have windows, bathtubs, and a backdoor. They should've started bricking and putting on the siding sometime this week. Here's hoping!

Many exciting things happened in April. We had Spring Break, which was awesome! Coleman and I also saw Jurassic Park in IMAX 3D in Cincinnati. We also saw Joel McHale, the host of "The Soup," at the new Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati. That place is so nice! There is no smoking inside which is great.

My friend Anne Jesse also had her wedding shower so I got to hang out with some sorority sisters! 

Last Saturday and this Saturday are my last two times to work Saturday School. But I'm excited because we're going to a Derby party (I'm making my friend Lauren's Hot Brown dip and Derby pie)! I love Derby so much!!!!!

Our first anniversary is also coming up on the 11th! We're going to Gatlinburg that weekend. We didn't get to go on a honeymoon so it'll be nice to have a whole weekend just to ourselves and get away. Maybe some outlet shopping will have to be added to the agenda! 

Graduation and wedding season is almost upon us too! Our last day of school is the 22nd, with two days after that for PD things. Graduation AND Anne's wedding are on the 25th, Erin and Andrew's on June 15th. Then I have to go to AP training at Western for a week! Then moving out and getting settled into the new house in July. This summer is booking up fast! 

My best friend Tara is in labor AS WE SPEAK having her little girl Kynlee. I am hoping her induction is going more smoothly than mine did. It'll be nice to have friends with babies! You just don't know what it's like until you have kids. My friend Amanda is also about to join the Mom-side at the beginning of June!!!!!! 

Anyways, sorry I haven't updated in a long time. Teddy will be 9 months old in a week. I can't wait for him to walk, start taking him to the pool, and get into all kinds of fun this summer!!! I'll leave you with some pictures of my sweet little boy.
