Spring Break!!!

Hey everyone! It is FINALLY Spring Break! Man o man, this has been a busy, busy month! With all the baby showers, weddings, birthdays, etc! I seriously have not had time to blog. I'm so incredibly happy to spend a week at home with my baby boy.

He has grown so much yet again! Here is his 7 month picture:

He does this thing now, whenever I hold my phone in front of him, he leans around it to see me. Peekaboo!

Still not crawling yet. He goes backwards a lot and is really good at sitting up from laying down or a crawl position. His biggest thing now is pulling himself up!

First time doing it for Mommy!

Daddy found him like this in his crib!

Good thing we had my dad lower the crib to the lowest it will go! I think we're going to skip the crawling phase and go straight to walking. Last night he was cruising around the couch so I think it'll be pretty soon. Teddy officially has all of his top 4 teeth. 7 total! Crazy! They're coming in really fast too. I've been trying to get a good big old goofy grin where you can see all 7, but no such luck yet.

Our other big exciting news this month is we signed our contract for our house and they've broken ground and gotten started! Every time we drive to Lexington we swing by and see the progress that's been made. Here is a progression of everything they've done so far:

Our closing date is July 15, which I think I already said. Shouldn't be long before they start framing and we can do our pre-drywall walkthrough!

We are still on the hunt for a good babysitter. Everyone that we've interviewed has big dogs or already watches like 5 kids. Ugh! If you know of anyone, please let me know!

This past week has been pretty awful though. Not only were my kids crazy at school (anticipation of the break), but I have been horribly sick and I gave it to Teddy! This is the first time he's ever been sick too. Poor little guy. He's thrown up before, and that was a whole saga in and of itself. We've figured out that he is "sensitive" to oatmeal. The doctor was apprehensive to use the word "allergic" because most kids outgrow their food "allergies." So anyways, no more oatmeal! He's been really gun-shy about eating ever since the throwing up incident too. So anyways, I've been sick this week, he's sick now. So Easter will kind of be a bust this year. I had a dress and Teddy had the cutest little outfit and everything! Oh well. Maybe it'll be a Keeneland outfit?

So anyways, please pray that the snow stays away for good, and pray for this poor precious baby. I hate that he feels so horrible and feel even worse that I gave it to him!
He's so sweet and snuggly

I will blog about our Easter/Spring Break soon! Praise Jesus, He is Risen!
