A few updates!

Man it has been a WHIRLWIND of the past few weeks! I am officially blogging this from Frankfort!!! Woo! We moved almost 2 weeks ago now. We found these really nice townhouses in Frankfort right off 64. So we're halfway between Coleman's job and mine. We're just about to get everything settled in. We had to move a few boxes around. Since we don't have a garage like we did at our old place, we don't have as much storage space. BUT that's totally ok because I'm sure with Teddy coming, we needed to get rid of a bunch of stuff.

We also had three, count 'em, THREE baby showers the past few weekends. My friends threw me one, Coleman's side of the family, and last my family. We got lots of good stuff! Thank you very much friends and family for doing that! My aunt Tonita came down on Monday and helped me organize and then on Tuesday we all went with my mom and got the last few things that we needed. I need to post a picture of his nursery. I'm SO glad it's all done! The hospital bags are (almost) ready to go. Just waiting on his arrival! Yesterday my friend Sharessa helped me with the breast pump and how to nurse and getting a good nursing bra. I don't know what I would've done without her! I would've been so lost. Nursing is like a full-time job in and of itself.

We also met with our new doctor on Monday and I like her just as much as Dr. Taylor in Madisonville! We learned a lot about the process and what is exactly going to happen when we go to L&D at UK. For example, as soon as he's born, no one will be allowed to touch him, hold him, or anything except for Coleman and me. They call it Kangaroo Care. We get to hold him for an hour for each of us in Kangaroo hold while we're still in L&D. Once they make sure everything is ok, then after 2 hours, we'll be wheeled into Mother and Baby and visitors can come in. I thought that was pretty cool. Dr. Mast also checked and I'm 1 cm dilated already which is good. It means it could happen at any time! I'm hoping sooner rather than later but oh well. Of course now we go every week so our next appt is on Monday.

In other news, Shelby Co has been AMAZING to me and I'm so anxious to get started there! Before we even moved they had already found me a long-term sub and everything. I got my curriculum for my classes and we're meeting with my sub today to get some stuff going and make sure the transition from him to me is gonna go smoothly. The only thing really left to do before the baby comes is get my classroom ready! Also, finding a sitter for Teddy for when I go back to work. I'm interviewing a woman today so we'll see.

Hopefully next post I write will be all about TEDDY!!!!!!!!!! :)
