I'm a Payne. . . Officially!

There is so much to write about!!!!!!! We've had Prom, gotten married, had another doctor's appt, and we have one more day of school left!

Prom went off successfully. It feels like April 21 was such a long time ago. The only major snafu I remember even having was we ran out of cups but we found some in the concession stand. I of course was running around like a crazy mad person! Still a good time tho, and it was BEAUTIFUL on the inside. I think the kids all had a good time!

Now, onto the good stuff! Today is our one week anniversary haha. Obviously, it is very fitting too that we got our official marriage license in the mail today! BUT our stupid Social Security Office closes at like 3 so I have to wait until Wednesday to officially go change my name to Maggie Payne. That sounds so nice! :)

So about the wedding. . . . . . It was definitely entertaining to say the least. The day went by very smoothly. Coleman and I did not see each other, although I think we spoke on the phone or via text more times than we have in the entire year that we've been dating lol. Heather, one of my bridesmaids, took me to get my makeup done in the mall and then holy crap, it was 5:15 and we had to get out to the winery! After that everything just flew by! The ceremony was beautiful; we could not have asked for better weather. Although, I bet none of you have been to a wedding where a groomsmen passed out! It was scary at first but he was ok. He was the groom at the wedding where Coleman and I met last year. I told him thankfully he fainted at ours and not his! My Uncle Junji was videotaping the whole thing so the groomsmen's wife Tara and I decided we definitely need to see that footage!

The other hilarious thing that happened at the wedding was my dad and my grandpa were both a little more than intoxicated. Coleman said Daddy pulled out a big ol' bottle of Woodford before the ceremony even started! And my dad NEVER drinks. Mom said his nerves were just shot since I'm the only child and all. But still, even during the father-daughter dance I almost throw up cuz the smell of bourbon was so strong on him! And he kept pulling me closer and closer and I was trying to move further away!!! Also, Pa and Daddy's dance moves were a little out dated (think circa 1977 Saturday Night Fever). But that just made it all the more entertaining.

Everything flew by so quickly. Coleman barely got to eat, I didn't get to eat at all. We never even got a piece of our wedding cake! Thankfully my aunt cut a giant piece off for us to take with us in the getaway car. Oh! Something else funny Coleman and I thought of was for the garter toss. Instead of pulling the garter out, we pulled a baby doll out first! The single guys QUICKLY swatted the baby down as if to say WHAT THE HECK?! It was really funny though. I thought it might be a little distasteful being pregnant and all, but what the heck, it's my wedding, I do what I want!

Coleman surprised me with a SUH-WEET getaway car! It was a Chrysler 300. It was AWESOME. Super nice. Thanks Enterprise ;)

Ahhh memories from the wedding. It was definitely one to remember and tell Teddy about someday! We have slowly but surely been seeing our official photographs online. Here is my favorite one so far:

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have it posted on my home computer, school computer, background on my phone. . . everywhere!

If you would like to check our pictures, go to www.jandapix.com click on All My Galleries, go to Weddings, click on Payne, and our password is winery. She's gotten like 400+ posted but it's only of Coleman and I getting ready and part of the ceremony! I can't WAIT until she has them all posted!!! I am VERY pleased with how our pictures turned out so far.

Ok, enough wedding talk! We had our 28 week doctor's appt on Tuesday and I had to drink that sugar stuff. There is NOTHING worse than flat coke and that's EXACTLY what it tasted like. Really, really flat orange soda. Gross. She also said that I measured a lot bigger than what I should be so when I go back in 2 weeks, she's gonna do any ultrasound. She might move my due date up or Teddy just might be really big. I'm hoping she says, "Oops! We meant to say your due date is JULY 4, not August!" That would be nice to hear! But I'm just excited to see Teddy again. I can't wait for him to get here! As of tomorrow, 10 weeks and counting! This pregnancy thing just flies by. . .

Lastly, before I wrap up, please pray that God will put me in the right school district. I had an interview yesterday. I so want to be close to home with the baby. Say a quick prayer!

One more day of school left. . . I think I can! I think I can!!!!
